Whew what a day! Rolling out of our camping bed this morning at 6am it has been go, go, go!
Our bed was picked up last Tuesday, all our furniture is sold or donated and we have been camping in our house for the last few days!
I thought we were well prepared and our final sweep and clean up would be a breeze……. Wrong! It is amazing how much stuff we have accumulated…… you may have heard this before, it bears repeating though. Be prepared for that unexpected cupboard or two bulging at the hinges……..
In a matter of hours we cleaned out another 8 bags of garbage, recycling etc. Stuff we never knew we had……..
We also cleaned the entire kitchen, 3 bathrooms, swept floors, vacuumed etc. etc. End result, one clean empty house, 2 packed bags and 2 tired, jubilant, smiling travellers!
The adventure begins……….. We have Escaped!
